You may remember me (strange name helps). I had the radio station a few years ago in Sarasota. I see you will be in Florida in March. Is it an event open to the public? I would love to finally meet you. The poem has had a dramatic influence on my life. At almost 67 I have a career in stand up comedy; just had an agent sign me to put me on a major cruise line; and have been teaching comedy on cruise lines for the last three years. The poem helped me get over “what will others think” restrictions and once I did that the road opened up.
I do mention your poem when I teach how to do stand up and tell the people to just GO DO IT!
